A brand-new concept car from Automobili Lamborghini was unveiled at the 2023 Monterey Car Week. The 2+2 Gran Turismo, also known as the Lanzador, will be the company's first entirely electric vehicle and go on sale in 2028.

Despite being four inches lower to the ground than the Urus, the Lanzador has a high ride height. It has the recognizable, angular LED headlamps and bumper up front, with the latter also sporting a recognizable, intricate pattern on either side.

The sloping roofline ends at the back with a ducktail spoiler and a pair of tri-unit LED taillights with Sian-inspired designs that are separated by the Lamborghini branding. An aggressively styled end towards the lower portion of the rear bumper sits farther down.

The Lanzador's interior has a very modern feel to it, and the Y-shaped design, one of its distinguishing features, is now found in the center console. A more streamlined steering wheel, a redesigned passenger display, and an engine start/stop button that is located below the dramatic missile-launch mechanism are all things we may anticipate. Two captain's chairs are located on the second row, and there is plenty of room behind them for the ideal passenger's luggage and other belongings.
Future Lamborghini electrification and plans

Although the most-electric Lanzador won't be available until 2028, all of the House of the Raging Bull's products will be powered by electricity by the end of 2024. The hybrid Revuelto has taken the place of the V12 Aventador, and a prototype of the Huracan's replacement with a hybrid drivetrain has already been observed in testing. The Urus is left, and it will follow a similar path during the following two years.
