With a 1001-HP Hybrid V-12, the 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto Remixes the Supercar
LAMBORGHINI
- The 6.5-liter V-12
engine from the 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto remains, and it now
generates 814 horsepower.
- However, it now functions
as a hybrid and has three electric motors to help.
- Although it only has a
little EV range, it boasts incredible performance.
The hybridised V-12 powertrain and carbon-fiber body of the long lasting Lamborghini Aventador's replacement have already been discussed. But now that the car is done, we can reveal its name and display it to you. The Lamborghini Revuelto2024 looks like this.
There is a relationship to bulls, as with the majority of well-known Lamborghinis. It appears that the first Revuelto battled in Spain in the 1880s. However, the word "scrambled," which is the name's literal translation from Spanish, also fits this Lamborghini that has been altered. It has a unique new plug-in hybrid drivetrain with an onboard battery pack, which appears to contradict the existence of a powerful V-12 engine.

Effortless Plug-In Hybrid
The combination of the 814-hp 6.5-liter V-12 and a trio of electric motors will give a maximum combined peak of 1001 horsepower. There are two electric motors on the front axle, and these allow torque vectoring under both power and regenerative braking.A third motor is integrated into the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission which is now mounted behind the combustion engine.
The 3.8-kWh battery pack mounted between the seats can only produce a peak current flow of 187 horsepower, but this can be moved between the three 147-hp electric motors as required. Unlike the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, the Revuelto can send power to both ends while working as an EV.
The battery can be recharged
from a port inside the front luggage compartment, and the awkward location
suggests it is only intended for infrequent use. More fun, although less
green, will be the option to replenish it using the V-12 which turns the rear
electric motor into a generator. Doing that takes just six minutes to top up
the battery pack.
Like a Lamborghini
Design-wise, the Revuelto is both recognisable and distinctive. Its attitude and proportions are distinctly Lamborghini—low, aggressive, and with visible mass concentrated at the rear of the vehicle.
The most notable of the numerous new elements, though, are the hooded headlamps situated behind the hood, which now extends all the way to the front of the vehicle.
It's a feature that Mitja Borkert, head of design at Lamborghini, acknowledges was influenced by the Panigale superbike produced by Ducati, a sibling company of Lamborghini.
A pair of spherical radar sensors and the Y-shaped running lights from the limited-run Lamborghini Sián from 2021 are also included in the front, indicating the Revuelto's significantly higher amount of technology.
The massive air intakes behind the doors, which are made to appear more menacing by blade-like elements, dominate the side view. Above this, what at first glance appears to be solid bodywork is actually only a skin covering enormous air channels on either side. These buttresses are referred to by Borkert as "aero wings" and are his favourite aspect of the vehicle.

One of the main requirements
set forth by Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelman is that the top of the
Revuelto's V-12 be visible through the rear engine cover. Huge center-exit
exhaust tailpipes and a movable wing component dominate the car's rear end.
The car's peak downforce, according to chief technical officer Rouven Mohr, is higher than that produced by the Aventador SVJ when its user-adjustable wings were in their low-drag configuration. We don't yet have a final downforce measurement for the vehicle. Estimate 650 pounds at least.
More Spacious Interior
According to Lamborghini,
one of the top concerns from customers, particularly those from the United
States, was the Aventador's cramped interior space.
The Revuelto is larger, has
more headroom and elbow room, as well as various stowage places in its cockpit
(the Aventador lacked any), as well as two cupholders that resemble those found
on Porsche models and that can be opened from in front of the passenger
position. Rich folks also possess items.
Three digital display screens are also
included in the Revuelto's cabin. The primary user interface for the driver is
an 8.4-inch touchscreen that is suspended underneath the "alien's
head" air vents in the middle of the dashboard and measures 12.3 inches in
length. Additionally, there is a brand-new 9.1-inch letterbox display in front
of the passenger that can be programmed to show various alarming numbers when
the car is driven aggressively.
We were a little
disappointed to find that the wiper and turn signal settings were now on the
steering wheel face. One of the final supercars to use stalks was the
Aventador. The Revuelto now includes an Audi-sourced stalk for its adaptive
cruise control, somewhat undoing this ergonomic cleansing.
The chassis and powertrain
modes, as well as movable aerodynamic and ride height settings, are controlled
by dials on the steering wheel.
IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE
Along with the standard
Lamborghini options of Strada, Athletics, and Corsa, the Revuelto now offers
Città, an EV-only style designed for low-speed city driving.
The range of an
electric-only vehicle will be quite constrained; according to Lamborghini,
under European testing guidelines, it will likely be just six miles.
Additionally, we now know
that the peak power will vary depending on the driving mode.
Città restricts power to the
max 178 horsepower available in the EV-only option, whereas Strada lifts it to
873 horsepower, Sport raises it to 895 horsepower, and Corsa supplies the full
1001 horsepower.Hybridization has led to an increase in overall weight, despite
the Revuelto's core carbon construction being touted to be both lighter and
stronger than that of the Aventador and having less of its predecessor's front
differential and propshaft bulk.
The new
dual-clutch gearbox is 425 pounds when the weight of its integrated electric
motor is added. According to Lamborghini, the front motors contribute merely
81.5 pounds of bulk while the central battery pack weighs 154 pounds.
According to the power-to-weight ratio Lamborghini is using, the total weight is stated to be 3915 pounds, however we are unsure if this includes fluids or not.
LAMBORGHINI
The
Revuelto will be the most potent and almost definitely the fastest Lamborghini
road car to date, even with the increase in mass and in its lowest launch
spec.
In a
category where nearly everything currently goes under three seconds, the
company's claim of a 2.5-second 60-mph time may not stand out.
However,
the claim that it will be able to accelerate from a standstill to 124 mph in
less than 7.0 seconds is truly startling.
The Bugatti
Chiron needs 6.5 seconds to complete the same benchmark.
Even though the Revuelto's pricing isn't yet set, Lamborghini says the first two years of production have already received all of the orders necessary to begin deliveries later this year.
